Great Eastern has introduced its new Great Legacy programme, designed to aid Singaporeans in managing their Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) and Advance Medical Directive (AMD) applications. This initiative aims to enhance the support available for individuals planning their future care and legal arrangements.
As part of the programme, Great Eastern will provide free certification clinics, each valued at $150, on a first-come, first-served basis. These clinics are scheduled every Tuesday and Thursday at the company’s Pickering office and will be led by a team of 1,700 trained financial representatives.
With this launch, Great Eastern becomes the first insurance provider in Singapore to align with the Ministry of Health’s, Ministry of Social and Family Development’s, Public Service Division’s, and Agency for Integrated Care’s pre-planning campaign.
The programme will also extend its services to include facilitation of Advance Care Planning (ACP), further supporting individuals in their long-term planning needs.
