Sun Life has announced the appointment of Niall Grady as its Chief Risk Officer (CRO) for Asia, effective September 16.
In his new role, Grady will be responsible for steering the company’s risk management strategy and growth initiatives across the region. His duties will include overseeing comprehensive risk management practices and ensuring cohesive risk strategies across Sun Life’s Asian operations.
Grady brings a wealth of expertise to the position, with over two decades of experience in managing enterprise, operational, and investment risks, as well as compliance within the banking, financial services, asset management, and insurance sectors.
Prior to joining Sun Life, Grady served at FWD Group in multiple capacities, including Chief Compliance and Investment Risk Officer and Chief Compliance & Operational Risk Officer.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Portsmouth University and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Financial Services from the University of Manchester.
