The 4th CHINET Aviacargo Conference, hosted by ATQNEWS, will be held on August 22 in Lagos. This key event will gather leaders from aviation, cargo, and insurance sectors, along with regulatory figures, to address industry challenges.
Insurance Commissioner Mr. Olusegun Omosehin will be the guest of honor, with notable insurance professionals participating in discussions and keynote speeches. Topics will include the airline-insurance relationship and insurance’s role in aviation.
Capt. Chris Najomo of the NCAA will cover air cargo regulations, while FAAN’s Managing Director Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku and the Directorate of Cargo Development Services will present on air cargo growth. Capt. Ed Boyo of Overland will provide industry insights.
Presentations will also focus on airports’ roles in air cargo, with contributions from Remi Jibodu of MM2 and George Uriesi of Ibom Air. Capt. John Ojikutu will discuss domestic cargo opportunities, and Ayo Ife-Lewis will address related challenges.
The conference will also cover export integrity and security, with input from NAFDAC, NAQS, and various industry stakeholders, aiming to enhance Nigeria’s air cargo sector.
