Zurich General Insurance Malaysia Berhad (ZGIMB) has unveiled two innovative motorcycle insurance plans, introducing the first market-complementary extended warranty and enhanced coverage for motorcycles under 250cc. Catering to Malaysia’s extensive motorcycle population, which exceeds 16 million, Zurich aims to address rider needs with the new Z-Rider (EW) and Z-Rider (Plus) offerings.
The Z-Rider (EW) stands out as a pioneering option, featuring a complimentary extended warranty. This plan includes a breakdown towing service for up to 60 km and provides RM5,500 in personal accident coverage. In contrast, the Z-Rider (Plus) targets motorcycles under 250cc, offering a broad spectrum of benefits including flood coverage up to RM1,000 and RM100 for accident-related towing, making it a versatile choice for diverse riding requirements.
