Bupa Hong Kong has introduced two new medical insurance plans—Bupa Hero VHIS Plan (Core) and Bupa Hero VHIS Plan (Core Pro)—with no lifetime benefit cap, targeting millennials, Gen Z, and retirees.
The plans offer annual benefits ranging from $640,000 (HK$5 million) to $1.28 million (HK$10 million) and align with the government’s Voluntary Health Insurance Scheme (VHIS). They address Hong Kong’s medical coverage gap, providing comprehensive ward-level coverage across Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. The Core Pro plan includes global coverage, excluding the U.S.
Key features include guaranteed lifetime renewal, coverage for unknown pre-existing conditions, and 24/7 mental health support. The plans also offer access to various healthcare services at discounted rates through Bupa Pass.
