Sedgwick, a leading firm in claims management, has unveiled new solutions tailored to meet the demands of loss adjusting and claims management for energy and natural resources companies across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
The newly formed specialist team at Sedgwick will concentrate on both traditional and emerging energy sectors. Their mandate includes addressing claims and supporting developments in traditional energy sources as well as the region’s transition towards sustainable options. This encompasses thermal and renewable power sources, hydrogen, floating solar technologies, and wind turbines. Additionally, their expertise extends to traditional power plants and infrastructure, catering to service providers within the energy and construction sectors.
Heading the team are industry experts Nigel Cook, Neil Best, and Liew Boon Tat, who collectively offer a wealth of experience in managing complex claims, ranging from construction and operational losses to projects involving renewable energy.
Nigel Cook emphasized the significance of this expansion, stating, “With the burgeoning growth of clean energy and natural resources industries in Asia, it is crucial for us to deploy our resources effectively and foster enduring partnerships within the region.”
