Tokio Marine Financial Advisers (Singapore) (TMFAS) has announced the appointment of Cheong Kum Foo as its Chief Executive Officer, effective from 3 June.
Bringing with him over two decades of experience in the finance sector, Kum Foo is recognized for his extensive expertise and successful track record in various senior leadership positions. Prior to joining TMFAS, he served as head of products and played a pivotal role within the senior management team of another prominent financial advisory firm.
Kum Foo’s career is marked by significant achievements, including the launch of a fintech startup and driving strategic business growth in roles within a fund house and an insurance company. He holds an MBA from Brunel University’s Henley Business School and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
His appointment underscores TMFAS’s commitment to strengthening its leadership team with seasoned professionals capable of driving strategic initiatives and enhancing client service in the competitive financial advisory landscape.
