Generali Group has announced the appointment of Cécile Paillard as the new Group Chief Transformation Officer, effective from 2nd September. In her new role, Paillard will directly report to General Manager Marco Sesana.
Paillard’s mandate focuses on accelerating the Group’s transformation agenda, with a strong emphasis on digitalization and innovation within customer experience and distribution networks. These efforts are pivotal to advancing Generali’s Lifetime Partner model. In addition to her responsibilities, Paillard will become a member of the Group Management Committee.
With over 25 years of experience in the financial services sector, Paillard brings a wealth of expertise in strategic planning and innovation. Previously, she served as CEO for the Mediterranean, Middle East, and Africa region at Coface Group, and held various senior positions at AXA.
This appointment underscores Generali’s commitment to strengthening its transformative initiatives under Paillard’s leadership.
