Aon, a global leader in re/insurance brokerage, has introduced its latest innovation, the Directors and Officers (D&O) Risk Analyzer. This new digital tool is aimed at empowering risk managers and brokers to evaluate executive risks more effectively and develop customized insurance solutions.
The D&O Risk Analyzer is part of Aon’s expanding portfolio of digital offerings. It provides U.S.-listed public companies with advanced, data-driven insights to address the evolving risks faced by their directors and officers.
Timothy Fletcher, CEO of Aon’s Financial Services Group, highlighted the increased complexity in managing corporate officer risks due to rising litigation costs, market volatility, and evolving regulations. He emphasized the necessity for risk managers to thoroughly evaluate D&O liability and insurance roles. “Our D&O Risk Analyzer, combined with the expertise of Aon’s brokers, delivers a comprehensive assessment of the D&O risk landscape, aiding clients in making more informed decisions,” Fletcher stated.
The D&O Risk Analyzer offers immediate access to real-time analytics, risk exposure assessments, loss models, stock price drop analyses, and total cost of risk (TCOR) visualizations. These capabilities support real-time loss forecasting, helping clients and brokers assess and manage D&O risk exposures and potential loss scenarios more effectively. The tool also enhances the ability to communicate risk retention and transfer options to senior executives.
Joe Peiser, global CEO of Commercial Risk Solutions at Aon, affirmed, “The D&O Risk Analyzer reflects our commitment to providing clients with actionable analytics for informed decision-making. As the risk environment becomes increasingly intricate, we are dedicated to offering solutions that help clients assess risks and insurance options with greater confidence.”
This new tool complements Aon’s existing suite of analytics solutions, including the Property Risk Analyzer and Casualty Risk Analyzer, further expanding the firm’s capabilities in risk management.
