AXA Philippines has officially announced the appointment of Ayman Kandil as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 October. Kandil, who currently serves as the company’s Chief Distribution Officer, will succeed Bernardo Serrano in the role.
With over 26 years of extensive experience in the insurance sector, Kandil previously led AXA Egypt as CEO, managing four distinct companies within the AXA Egypt group. His leadership has been marked by a successful track record in the industry.
Serrano, who has guided AXA Philippines to significant and sustainable growth, will transition to a new position within AXA by 30 September. His leadership has established a solid foundation for the company, including a robust leadership team and talent pool.
